Remington Model 51

Recently acquired a very nice Remington Modle 51. Serial number PA 19806. Anybody have any ideas as to probable manufacture date? Presume, given the known S/N range sometime in the first years of production, but am slightly curious as to whether a closer guess than that is possible.

Your gun is a 380 Cal. and was made in th second year of production1919. Jay Huber RSA

I gather the "PA" marking that seems to be part of the S/N on Model 51s is NOT the coded production date that it would be on a rifle or shotgun barrel, then?
