Will a Remington m1894 SxS 12 Gauge stock fit a Remington model 1900 and vis versa?

In that the stocks of the Remington Hammerless Doubles were all to a greater or lesser degree hand fitted, the answer is highly unlikely. Most stockmakers I know would rather build a new stock then spend the hours it takes to tinker with an existing stock to make it fit properly.
