10 Bore SxS shotshells

Post by remington3200 »

I was just wondering if anyone has reloaded 10 ga. shells for shooting skeet.I have two Remington 10 bore side by sides, one is a Lifter Model and the other is a 1889 .Both guns have steel barrels and I am looking to shoot a few rounds of skeet with them.I have just picked up a Mec single stage reloader, but looking for someone that would share thier information. What hulls(length),wads, powder(and how many grains).Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm lazy, and find it a lot easier to use a pair of Gauge-Mate Silver 10- to 12-gauge chamber inserts and use my lite 12-gauge reloads.

Thanks for your reply.I had no idea that they made gauge reducers for 10 ga.down to 12ga.Do you know where I can find them?
