hex barrel question

My father-in-law gave my wife a remington pump 22 hex barrel with a serial # 331382 rw on the bottom of the reciever.He said it is the same gun he would of had as a kid, if he'd had money.He's an 85 yearold ww2 Omaha beach vetran that seems to know guns but it looks pretty new to me.Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you may have a Remington model 12 made in 1915. They were produced from 1909 to 1936.
