Model 41 Questions

I have acquired a Remington Model 41 single shot 22. When I operate the bolt, the striker does not "cock" on closing the bolt. I have to manually pull the cocking knob back. Is this normal? How do I disassemble the bolt for cleaning? Where can I get a manual? Thanks.

I think that's the way it works. I would have to dig mine out to confirm, but if there is a plunger there, it is for you to pull. I haven't shot mine but I'm looking forward to it.
