New here, forgive me if I'm stepping all over protocal.
I have a 40-X 22LR Match Rifle that I bought a few years ago (serial #4280xx), it's got a Redfield rear site but missing the front site. The butt stock is quite short and not really being up on the 40-X, I assumed that someone had cut it down and to use an adjustable butt stock for Small Bore. That until I saw a picture online today showing a 40-X just like mine (non military) with the same short stock as mine but with an adjustable butt stock.
Hopefully someone more informed than I can shed some light on this. Is mine a variation, or just a coincidence finding a picture of another lopped off stock ??
Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
