A local dealer has a sale on 798s priced from $400 to $550. Anyone have experience with them???

I think for that price I would just buy a used 700. Preferably an early one. I just don't think the new quality matches the old.

I went back this morning and the one I wanted had been sold. I think I'm going to upgrade to a new Sako tomorrow morning. My primary rifle is a 280. I'll either get another 280 or a 30-06.
