Will a stock made for a Model 870 fit a Model 31?

No, the receivers on M31's and 870's differ in configuration and dimensions and the stocks will not interchange between these models.

Good to know, thanks for the information. A tech at ATI after seeing pictures of my Model 31 said that their tactical stocks for the Model 870 looked as if they would work. Saved me a lot of hassle.
