Ammo Age

Recently obtained several boxes of .45 ACP ammo that I believe was government surplus. Any way to find date of manufacture and or distribution history? Most is marked "50 cartridges, BALL, Caliber .45 M1911, Lot RA 5694, Remington Arms Company Inc." Some is marked "50 Carteidges, PISTOL BALL, Caliber .45 B1911, LOT W.C.C. 6493, Wester Cartridge Company". All is packed in typical military type brown paper board boxes with print in black.
