1100 Serial Number

I have been offered a trade of a Remington 1100 for a truck body i have for sale. I have know idea what this shotgun is worth. The serial number i was given is L973825V. Can anyone give me any help on identifying what year and ball park value for this would be appreciated.

I would guess around 73 to 74. If the barrel is original you can look yourself here and get closer:

Based on the one photo, and the bluing wear showing, $350 to $375 is my guesstimate.
