Whitmore Lifter 10 Gauge

Post by rudybolla »

Can someone help identify which model this is? It is described as having 32" barrels (steel?) with moderately pitted bores. SN 898. Worn, but sound wood. Tight action. Seller says 1875 vintage. Looking at it as an occassional BP shooter and wondering about safety issues. I shoot a 12 bore 1889 in similar condition with no ill effects. Thanks.

According to seller chambers are 2 7/8.
