721 Magnum rear sight

Could Remington have installed rear sights on the 721 magnum rifles other than their own? I have a 300 H&H that has a Marbles buckhorn. Thanks for you reply.

1950 parts list I have lists 300H&H rear sight assy. the same as all the 721, 722 standard sights. part number 17030Y

Later parts list in the transition era, show one part number 24525 for 300 H&H and standards. I have seen the standard sight on a transition 721 300 H&H.

Also to the best of my knowledge, Marbles 14R base was an aftermarket base to install a regular dovetail sight on the transition guns. (and early 700s no doubt).
