I have a pre 1920 Remington M14 .30 cal. C238xx. I was curious as to the value of this rifle.
Bore is great. Missing the original round rear sight replaced with a Marbles buck horn. Wood is good on stock and fore arm. The wrist has been repaired and there was a tang sight installed. The holes have been repaired. Aluminum butt plate It is missing one of the forearm screws.
I killed a javalena with this rifle in 1956 and it is the last time it was shot.
I may be selling it.
Thank you for any information.

Re: Rem Model 14 .30 cal
It's very difficult to give a value even with good pictures and a good description without gun in hand. The BEST way to find the going value for a specific firearm is to look for like item (especially condition) sales on gunbroker.com, gunsamerica.com, gunsinternational.com, or auctionarms.com.
