I have my fathers, possibly grandfathers shotgun in my basement gathering dust. The subject provides the model information i can locate. I can find a 125472 on the barrel and a stamped Mod B on the other side of the barrel.
The butt of the piece has Remington UMC on it.
Other etchings show
Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Co.
Remington Works Ilion and New York
PAtented February 3, 1903 and May 16, 1905
I do not and have never hunted, plus I have 2 daughters, so,,, could anyone provide some type of value associated with this shotgun?

Re: Remington UMC Model 10-A
There is not much "collector" interest in these old Remington pump guns unless in near mint condition or one of the higher grade hand engraved versions. While one can't truely evaluate a gun without having it in hand, I can say that when found in most pawn shops around here the asking price on the Model 10-A is usually less then $200, which means a dealer is only going to offer half of that.

Does anyone know of places in Saint Louis who would purchase the item?
