I just acquired a 552 Speedmaster & I'm loooking for info --

There is no serial number, but on the barrel are: W N 52 -- what does that translate to?
Tell me about this gun, it's in pretty good shape. I have not shot it yet but it points well & the full length barrel is like staring down an aircraft carrier landing deck.
Looking for all the basics re: this gun --

If it has a longer barrel (about 23 1/2", overall length 42"), W N would translate to Aug. 1966.
If it has a shorter barrel, it would be a newer manufacturer. (they shortened the barrels somewhere between '77 and '79)
