Anybody know anything about A.E. Whitmore Maker shotgun?

As far as I know Whitmore never made any shotguns. Remington made a shotgun under Whitmores Patents. Refer to some of the books offered this site to find story of Remington Gun. With all due respect. WHY are you asking a non Remington question on a Remington forum. You asked a very open question that could contain a very long answere. It sounds like the best place to get the info you seek would be the website that you saw pictures of it on. If its believe that its the only one in existence you can not expect too much info. It sounds like it maybe pieced together so you maybe right.

Tough crowd

Since Whitmore did design guns for Remington I can understand why someone might think Remington collectors might have some insight in to other work he did. Doesn't seem so unreasonable to ask.
