Roughly $400 to $550 in the condition you describe. I see a lot of 11-48s in 410 and 28 gauge listed with higher prices, but I do not see them selling for that. I believe they were made from 1948 until 1968.
What could have happened... did.

The Model 11-48 and the Sportsman 48 came out in 1948 in 12-, 16-, and 20-gauges. The 28-gauge and the .410-bore were added in the early 1950s. Because it was the gun offered in all five gauges, it was kept in the Remington line until 1968. In the 1969 catalogues Remington added the 28-gauge and .410-bore to the Model 1100 line. However, a buddy of mine has an 11-48F "Premier" Grade .410-bore that was shipped in May 1969. So, for a bit over a decade the 11-48 was THE .410-bore semi-auto so the skeetfields of the world saw a lot of them. I remember a whole row of them with an even patina of rust, but still working fine, at the skeet range between Subic Bay Naval Station and Cubi Point Naval Air Station in the PI.
