I recently obtained a remington arms 2o gauge barrel with markings mod and K P 60 how do I determine what gun it fits?

Well, it sounds like it is either 1967 or 1995 production. What else does it say on the barrel? Post some pictures and someone will be able to tell you.
What could have happened... did.

I would say that is a Standard weight 20 gauge 870 barrel from 1967.
What could have happened... did.
