Howdy all, I have a "AUTOLOADER" in 12 ga. in very good condition all original, I shoot it on a regular basis. I need to put a recoil pad on it as the butt plate broke, can anyone tell me if the R3 will fit? or any other suggestions? I'm not too sure on the date of manufacture but I think it's 1909 the serial # is 5124 3, (and yes the last digit is spaced out). Can anyone date it for me?

Your serial number is for a pre Model 11 and dates to 1905. I suggest you go to Brownells and buy a Kick Ease pad over size and fit it to the gun. Or have a gunsmith do it. Jay Huber RSA
