The left of your barrel close to where it meets the receiver will have a 2-3 letter code. That's how you'll determine ...

Now that’s a good looking rifle! Not only is it a carbine, but a C grade too. I imagine there’s few C & engraved carbines out there. I like that it has nice honest user wear especially for it’s age.
