The M25 sniper rifle is a variation of the M14, just not chambered in a .25-20. These models also share the designation with Remington's M25 and M14. That post was correct, just not relevant to the topic at hand.

Remove the cam pin/s, they should come out easily, they need to be pushed from the groove outwards. They will usually fall out if you are careful but grease is generally enough to prevent that from happening, thus the need to push them outwards.

The whole series of rifle needs to be completely disassembled in order to remove the bolt.Once the barrel and operating handle are removed the bolt and action bar assembly will come out the front as a unit.
