Re: Remington Rifle Identification

The upside of becoming the 51st state would be having a 2a and 50 other states you could sell your Remington in. Probably more demand here than in Canada but trying to import it to Alabama would likely be a bust even though it's antique and there is no readily available ammo for it . Hopefully next ...

Re: I want to ask

The Tikka would be my choice of the two if we are talking a new rifle. I like some of the older Remington bolt guns but was never a 700 fan. I have owned 5 m700's over the years but have not owned one in the last 20 years. They were good guns but they were never interesting to me so never stayed ...

No need for a separate photo host . Click the link to make a post . When the post box comes up type whatever text you want and scroll down and you will see a box marked Attachments , below that is a box that says add files , click that. That will access your onboard photos and allow you to select ...

MisterX wrote: Tue May 14, 2024 12:11 pm Can anyone make a recommendation on type of ammo to shoot or avoid for these guns?

32-20 WCF
Ammo is kinda hard to find and expensive when you do so you will just have to shoot what you can find . No currently manufactured ammo will hurt it.

Re: Model 14 Doesn't Lock in Battery

Sounds like something is still gummed up. I have a few and a 141 but have had no problems with them . Get a factory repair manual reprint off ebay from Cornell Publishing, might give you some ideas. nambujim will see this eventually and will know where to look, be patient .

You can shoot cast but after a while you will have feeding issues and need to take the feed system apart for some major cleaning. You can do that , I can do it but prefer not to have to as they are ...

Jim will be along sooner or later, what he doesn't know about a 14 or 141 ain't worth knowing. As to working on a 25, be glad your not as it appears no one works on them or even has any idea where to start .

Re: Native American Design Rifle?

That design means nothing to anyone except the person that put it on there. Don't see anything specifically native American about it. Remington designed rifle not native American designed rifle. Rifle with possible Native American design would be the correct way to post this. John Browning actually ...
