Thanks Dave, that is exactly the info I was looking for. I'm not sure that the butt stock on this gun is original but the asking price makes this an attractive gun for me.

Remington 19894 CEO price
Ok, I really hate to ask this but what is a realistic price to pay for a nice 1894 CEO with 28" barrels? I have a chance to buy one and I would like to know what would be a decent offer to make.

Why is it that Remington 1894's are so under valued in the double gun market? I just purchased a BEO straight grip gun for just over $400 if this was a Parker it would have been 5 times that price.
