Remington Model 30-SR
Finally found a Remington Model 30-SR with the Redfield 102R receiver sight. I was beginning to wonder if any had survived unmolested with the original sight still on them. The stock has not been cut for a Lyman 48 of a 30-SL and the barrel is not tapped for the riser & sight of a 30-SX so I don't ...

Re: 760 carbine in .243
Thanks for the reply. Then what I have is a cut-down rifle. Not unhappy as what I wanted was a .243 760 carbine as a handy coyote gun and since the factory didn't make one a modified rifle would have been the only alternative. Just have to see how she shoots. Thanks again.

760 carbine in .243
Did Remington ever make the 760 Carbine in .243? Were all 760 Carbines marked as such on the barrel? Thanks.

Remington Model 30R Carbine LE Marked
I was very lucky to acquire a Remington Model 30R Carbine recently. It is .30-06 caliber has stock markings for the Pennsylvania State Police. All information I have seen on the Carbines said that they had barrel mounted rear sights but this one has the early style Remington Model 30 peep sight on ...

Fabrique Nationale Semi-Auto Rifle
Saw one of these at a local gun show. Looks like a deluxe version of a Remington Model 8, checkered wood with round pistol-grip knob like the Belgian A-5s, heavy rib on top of barrel with fixed rear sight, no caliber marking but looks like .35. Do anyone on the board own one of these or have more ...
