I have an old side by side from a relative that I’m trying to learn more about and it pre dates the alpha numerical date codes.
On the side it just says Remington Arms Co.
Stamped on the metal behind the trigger assembly is 329330 and stamped into the metal of the trigger assembly is 9517.
