The next question is what would you do with them? With the amount of rust on them, and the fact that I don't own a 32 I'm unsure if they would be any value to anyone

Figured I'd post a picture of this to get an idea of the year, and incase someone would find it interesting.
It's bare and empty.

Going through some of my grandfather's old things, and came across these ou barrels. He was the head of metallurgy in Ilion for 40 years or more, retired in the early 80s and I worked as a manufacturing engineer for a short stint around 2000 fwiw.
The long set has what looks like a heading check ...

Looks like 22 rim fire, but I don't know anything else about it
