All terms are three year terms.

RSA 2025 Election Results

This year for the first time RSA arranged for members to be able to vote in its Board of Directors election by e-mail or USPS for those for whom we do not have an e-mail address. This was done to allow all members to participate in the election process and not just those who were able to attend the Annual RSA Members’ Meeting during the January Las Vegas Antique Arms Show.
20% of our members participated in the election, which was good and we were pleased. But we learned ways we can do even better. For example, we learned that we do not have current valid e-mail addresses for a fair number of members and will be working to update our records with valid e-mail addresses for everyone.

Election results for new three year terms which were announced during the Members’ Meeting were as follows. They took effect at adjournment of that meeting.

• Mike Alsop is our new President.
• Billy Smith rejoins the Board as a Director and incumbent Rich Shepler starts a new term as a Director.
• Ed Taddeo remains a Board member as the Immediate Past President.
• Roy Marcot, who was the prior Immediate Past President, has been appointed to an open Director position by Mike.
