Double Barrell Shotgun

Several weeks ago, I purchased a double barrell shotgun without a trigger guard at an estate sale. The serial no. is 98043. Am looking for a web site or any reading material on this serial no. so I know some history. Any suggestions of where to look.

From the serial number I guess that it is an 1889 Model outside hammer gun made in 1900. Charlie Semmers book REMINGTON DOUBLE SHOTGUNS will give you the whole story of the gun.
