Hi there
Firstly, I'd just like to say hi. I'm new to this site but very please I found it. I live in London and am an amateur collector of antique firearms, predominately flintlock pistols although I also have a hankering for American civil war revolvers. I own a very nice original Colt Army 1860 revolver but also want to add a good example of an original Remington revolver.
With this in mind, I wonder if you could give me some guidance as to what I should look for. (I don't want to get caught out and end up with a doctored repro).
I have my eye on this pistol but wanted to know what questions I should be asking to ensure its authenticity.

Any help/guidance would be very appreciated.
kind regards
Nick
