Trapshootijng Rules 1904

Post by paul1480 »

I have a Trapshooting rules and records book dated 1904 by The Union Metallic
Cartidge Company . Was this an offical rule book at the time or was it just a guide
put out by the company. Any idea on its value? This book has rules not only for
clay targets but live targets as well. Just a side note, at this time the contestant
(shooter) was mandated to pay one cent per bird, and the scorer was required to
keep his back to the shooters and only record what the "referee" called out.
Any info on this book would be greatly appreciated
