Could you post some pictures of this gun? As far as I know Remington only made two single-barrel break-action shotguns, the No. 3 and the No. 9 and they were not made in anything smaller then 28-gauge --


Remington also made a rolling block single-barrel shotgun, but as far as I know they were only made in 16- and 20-gauge.
I don't know of Remington making a .410-bore shotgun until they brought out the Model 11-48 autoloader in the late 1950s in 28-gauge and .410-bore.
