birthdate of model 700 bdl in 6mm

Hello there and happy new year to you all.
Great forum you have going here. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the manufacture date for a model 700BDL in 6mm serial no. 323XXX
I am checking up on it for my dad who used to shoot it quite a bit, and has since moved and is unable to do so anymore.

Second question:
looking for action screws, and trigger guard (blued) for the same. Would a set of newer screws fit this older model action and stock?

found a neat little site (not quite sure what the address was)that helped me figure out the gun was made in Jan of '68. did a google search for remington arms date of manufacture, and it popped up. two letters on the side of the barrel "BR" told the tale apparently
