Forestock replacement for an 1883/82 S/S

I have what I believe is an 1882 or 83 hammer S/S that came down through family. From the information gathered here I think I have a decarbonized steel barrel with no engraving and a 6369 serial number. It is missing it's forestock. Where would one look to purchase a replacement. I understand serial numbers will not match, but it would be nice to have a complete gun to hang over the mantal. Thanks for any time given. Geoff

Geoff, You can try forend from 1882/3,1885/7 or 1889 any one might work,but you will
not get a perfect fit some not at all and you have to know the gauge.Good Luck.
