SKEET vs SKEET-B vs SKEET-T

Post by dhenzler »

See variations on the 1100 SKEET shotguns. Just recently purchased a 410 SKEET-T, with beautiful figure and high gloss finish & laser cut checkering.

Anyone have the info, or a link to where it can be found.

The Model 1100 has been in production 70 years. There are a lot of variations. From the introduction in 1963-4 there was the Model 1100 SA Skeet and the Model 1100 SB Skeet B with slightly nicer wood. Actually, in the first year of two they listed the Model 1100 SC with much nicer wood and cut checkering, similar to the Model 870 SC. In my NSSA skeet shooting days we called them Skeet Average, Skeet Better and Skeet Cut. For 1979 Remington introduced the Model 1100 Tournament Skeet and the Skeet B was dropped from the listings.
