I have a 7 mm rolling block carbine, 2 questions.
Does it shoot regular 7 x 57 or 7 x 57 rimmed?
It is missing the metal front of the hand guard that secures the handguard. Anyone around have one for sale?

The 7mm Rolling block has a reputation for problems with factory ammo. This is mainly due to head space issues.
I load my own and use 'Starting loads. If you have problems obtaining cases you and use 30.06 cases cut to length and then sized.
You will find if is worth the effort I get a lot of joy with mine.
