Welcome to the forum, and the madness that is Remington. What Remmies are you interested in?

Looking for info. On Remington 5mm magnum rimfire, I have one stamped as model 592m and is a single shot bolt action. Most of this style are tube fed or magazine fed bolts, apparenty single shot in this model is considered a myth or that none left the factory. Is anyone on this board a 5mm guru?

Can you post some pictures of the rifle? A single shot in 5mm is not known of at this time. Going with Remington SOP a single shot 5mm would be a Model 590.

Remington used the following designations on many of their rimfire rifles.

0 at the end of the model # is single shot i.e. (510 & 580)
1 at the end of the model # is magazine fed i.e. (511, 581 & 591)
2 at the end of the model # is tube fed i.e. (512, 582 & 592)

Now this isn't used through out all models but talking about the 5mm rifles and other rimfires in the same time period this is a good way to tell the differences.

Of course Remington has been known to make oddities and not stay within standard SOP!

Again some pictures would be helpful
