Dating a 40-XB/R

Good evening folks.

I have recently acquired a Remington 40-XB/R in 7.62x51. Blued slotted action and chromemoly barrel. I noticed the rifle has no date codes on the barrel. Is there any reliable way to date this rifle?

I am out of my "comfort zone" here but my 40XBR is clearly marked as such and has a barrel code. My personal opinion is this is a 40-X with an after-market barrel.
