The Grand
The Grand
This year Remington sponsored a " Nostalgia" event at the Grand and apparently the man from Remington who set it up doesn't know a whole lot about early shotguns that were used for trap shooting. This year, Remington allowed the M10, M11, M29, M11-48 and M32. Also included were the Winchester M21 and M97 along with the prior guns (M12 and Ithaca SB). So why wasn't the model 1894 F grade and Parker SBT guns allowed. Remington took over Parker and they made the 1894. And we know there were others - Lefever, L.C. Smith, Fox, etc. Maybe next year it will just include any shotgun made before a certain date. That would make a lot more sense.

R.O. Heikes shooting a Remington Hammerless Double won the first Grand American Handicap at inanimate targets in 1900. J.J. Blanks with a Remington Autoloading Shotgun won in 1907 and Fred Harlow also with an RAS won in 1908. Has a Remington gun won the GAH since?

Re: The Grand
So how does one go about contacting the proper person to rectify not allowing more different guns in that shoot ?
