From the introduction of the Remington Repeating Shotgun, the No. 3 was the "Trap" Grade. Shown here in in the 1908-9 Remington Arms Co. catalog --

and a 1910 pocket catalog --

In 1911, Marcellus Hartley Dodge combined his arms and ammunition companies as Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. In the 1911-12 Rem-UMC catalog they began calling this John D. Pedersen designed gun the Model No. 10, but they kept numbers 1 to 6 for the grades. By the 1913-14 Rem-UMC catalog they began using letters A to F for the grades --

and added a second gun for trap shooting the Model No. 10S "Trap Special" Grade --

During 1916 they incorporated and became The Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. Through their last catalog in 1920, the pump trap gun offerings remained the No. 10C and No. 10S --

During 1920, in order to spin off debt and excess capacity from The Great War, a new company, Remington Arms Co., Inc., was formed and The Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. was dissolved in August. The new Model 10T "Target" Grade appears in the first Remington Arms Co., Inc. catalog --

The full line of Model 10 Trap Guns appeared in the 1923 Remington Arms Co., Inc. Catalog No. 107 --
