New to me Model 4 and some ??

I was down in PA hunting this past December and my uncle gave me the first rifle that I ever shot.

It's a octagonal barreled model 4. Take-down version.

The Barrel is Marked:

REMINGTON ARMS - UNION METTALIC CARTRIDGE CO
REMINGTON WORKS ILION, NEW YORK

22 SHORT or LONG

The serial number is 289281

The gun still works and is very clean and well taken care of.





The gun is missing the buttplate and the front sight, does anybody have any close-up photos of some so I can try and fab some??

I know it's a stretch, but are there parts still available for these?? anybody have one that's beyond repair that they'd be willing to part out??
