Post by 60671278 »

Hi

I got my eye on this remington model 1875.

http://www.bruun-rasmussen.dk/search.do ... ode=detail

The informations are scares, but i guess it is one of those who went to egypt.

can anyone tell me more about the guns that went to egypt, i guess the caliber
to be 44 remington, is it possible to make a load, so i can fire it

kind regards

Peter,

Review the post that was made on May 6, 2008 by "Dingus". My answer to him will give specifics on the 44 Remington cartridge forthis revolver. Because it differs from the 44-40W cartridge, and the 44 Remington cartridge was produced for such a short period of time, it is a highly prized collectors item, locating the brass will be difficult. My suggestion would be to by the 44 Remington as a collectible, and buy another in 44-40W to shoot.
