I haven't talked to Roger in many years, did something happen to him?

When I tried to communicate with him I received an email from his daughter informing me that he had passed away.

Roger was one of several RSA members who conducted ongoing research on Remington big bore revolvers which included conversions and single actions. Roger's expertise on percussion/cartridge conversion revolvers was recognized across the Remington collecting fraternity. His book on the subject has become the standard reference. At this time I don't know or anyone who is actively researching the subject with intent to publish. Don Ware was also a accomplished researcher on Civil War and single action Remington revolvers. His book is also invaluable. The quarterly Journal of the Remington Society routinely has articles on these revolvers.
