model 56 barrels

I have a Model 58 Skeet BBL but no gun. Will this BBL work on an 870 or will the gas ports cause problems, Thanks

It will work. You may get a little gas residue on the mag tube. You can plug the ports with silicone sealant or a piece of lead shot.
What could have happened... did.
