I have a remington pump action 22 with a octagon barrel. I was wondering the date of manufacture. The number under the receiver is 57143. I cannot find a model number anywhere. The only numbers I could find was remington arms and some patent info as well as 22lr. I need some parts also to get this gun operational. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to include more info or pictures to get a start. could possibly be a model 12. I'm also trying to restore an old Rem. and need parts. Does yours have an internal or an external hammer or any patent #'s on the top of the barrel ? Robin..

the only pump without a model has to be a model 12, this was made early 1911.
