Just picked this up yesterday. I collect WW2 handguns so, I'm trying to expand my collecting interest. Serial number is 110327 and is all matching. When was it manufactured and shipped to the army?

Jeff,

Welcome aboard. Your revolver, Remington New Model Army, S/N 110327 falls in the serial number range for revolvers received by the Ordnance Department during November of 1864 as part of the contract issued to E. Remington & Sons dated November 21, 1863. The Cartouche "GP" is attributed to Giles Porter, Principle Sub-Inspector. Unfortunately, we do not have records showing distgribution of the firearms after reaching the Ordnance Department.

Hope this helps,
