Remington Rand 1911

The only markings are:
Frame-M5 on the top, and WGP stamp on the left
Slide-P on top, Rem Rand on side
Barrell-P and HS

What are your thoughts?

Update: I was told that it was taken off a Korean Soldier which is why it doesnt have US Property markings on it.

All R-R pistols were made during WW2 on government contract, so all should have the standard markings including a serial number. After the war, some guns were given to other countries for their use. It sounds like a lunch box special that left the factory through the back door.
