Hello - wondering if anyone knows anything about a revolver we've picked up.
The top of the barrell is stamped as follows:
"The Union Metallic Central Fire
(Illegible) Smith(?) Best TM(?) Revolver"
"Spain" is also stamped next to this.
The only other marking we can see is a serial# 1187 on the left hand side of the frame, directly above the trigger guard.
All our research for "Union Metallic" comes back with ammo info. Since they merged w/Remington, I thought I'd try here.
