Remington Old Model 1861 revolver

I have a remington old model dec 17th 1861 patent that has a serial number of 8190. My understanding is that it was part of the small production. It was my great grand fathers who was an officer in the union army. The pistol is in excellent condition. All actions work, no chips off the grip.

I am wondering if anyone has any idea what this pistol is worth. or where I can go to find out the value.
