You need to post pictures to a host like Photobucket. Then copy and paste the [img]...[/img] in your text here.
Detail pictures of the calibre, model, and serial number would be great. You can tape out the last of the number.

wow that is great,the rifle has been in the family since the late 60s,my dad passed it along to me in 76 when he bought a model 700 30.06.i used it until the mid 80s when i bought a 700 .06 also.my .06 date code says 1973.unfortunately when my dad passed i didnt get his guns.my son is 18 but does not hunt yet.he refinished the stock on the 722 & will use it when he starts to hunt probably next year.maybe i will let him use my .06.iam very attatched to the .300 sav since it is the only gun ihave from my dad.my son will visit this weekend&can help me get u the photos.iam beside myself over this situation!!thanks,len
The serial number and the E ZZ fit together like a glove. See the list first page. I added a note for the L C. That is indicating a return to the factory and stamped again. I believe that is typical for factory work. Also there are more than usual proofs and inspection marks on the other side.
