MODEL 760 IN .35 REM

I'VE RECENTLY COME INTO POSSESION OF A 760 IN .35 CAL. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME AN IDEA OF THE YEARS THIS WAS PRODUCED?

The 35 rem was made in the grooved forend 1952-1963 (about 20k), in the 5 diamond forend 1953-1963 (about 2k), in the pressed checkering 1964-1967 (about 1200 and a carbine about 450). Then in 1979 they made 12k in the latest 760 style, the black tip. A total of about 36,000 were produced . Kenblauch@aol.com
